Vid 541 has pretty Sally4 starting with longer black hair with lighter color at the ends.  Sally is a bit wild as evidenced by her multiple tattoos.  When I first met her she had dyed her hair blond and had long hair that was very layered.  Today she wants an angled bob as her new cut.  The barber starts by sectioning the bottom three inches of the nape.  This section is buzzed to 1/4".  Next the inverted clippers stat the angled bob high up the nape and fall forward to chin length in front.  Scissors clean up the cute bob and a blow dry finishes the cut.  Off Camera Sally gets highlights added to her now black bob.  Eight months later Sally was growing her hair out.  Maybe she will go shorter on our next trip.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 542 has the very pretty Ann Marie starting with long wavy black hair.  Ann Marie has a beautiful smile and quite a large chest.  I wonder how feminine she will be with a short boyish haircut.  The barber starts with scissors and snips all of Ann Marie's long hair short, dropping it to the floor.  Next clippers buzz a path around each ear and a bit up the nape.  With the length established, wet hair and scissor-over-comb take the top quite short.  A straight razor cleans around the hairline while gel is added to coax the hair into a side part.  Off camera blond highlights are added to Ann Marie's boyish cut.  There's no mistaking Ann Marie for a boy as she looks quite stunning and feminine in her short style.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 543 has Juvelyn2 starting with long straight dark brown hair.  Juvelyn is ready to lose her long locks and go for a buzzcut as her new style.  The barber starts with scissors and comb and removes all of the long hair close to the head.  With all of Juvelyn's hair cropped close and her long hair on the floor, the barber starts with the No. 3 clippers.  He buzzes all over her head to 3/8".  The sides and back are tapered closer.  The bangs are snipped short and a razor cleans around the hairline.  Juvelyn looks stunning in her new buzzcut.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 544 has Josa starting straight dark hair to her waist with a couple of highlights added.  Today Josa is ready to lose her very long hair; all of it.  We start by parting her long hair down the center and giving her two long ponytails at the back of her head.  The barber grabs the zero clippers and buzzes off the left ponytail to the skin.  Now Josa has a long ponytail on one half of her head and is buzzed to the skin on the other.  The process is completed on the other side until Josa has a ponytail for each hand and her head is buzzed completely.  The 00000 clippers buzz the hair as close as the Osters can go.  Then shaving cream is added to her entire head.  Slowly the barber removes any remaining stubble leaving Josa totally smooth.  Josa smiles as she sees her dramatic new look in the mirror.  What an amazing makeover.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 545 has Marissa5 starting with very long, thick black hair that is straight with a slight wave to it.  Marissa is ready for a new look but doesn't want to go very short.  She has selected a short straight bob.  We start with a ponytail at her nape.  The ponytail is buzzed off with clippers.  Next the clippers buzz up the bottom few inches of the nape.  The clippers are then inverted and slowly form the short bob at mid-ear.  With the basic bob shape done, scissors trim the bob into shape on wet hair.  A few bangs are added above the eyebrows and a straight razor cleans the hairline at the nape.  Marissa's thick hair takes a few minutes to blow dry into a lovely bob shape.  Marissa loves her new haircut so much she requested a copy of the DVD.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 546 has Jovelyn staring with very long wavy black hair.  Jovelyn is ready for a major change and wants to take her long hair very short.  The stylist starts by pulling all the long hair to the back and lopping off the length, dropping it on the floor.  Starting at the nape the clippers buzz a high path.  This continues over each ear showing that this is going to be one short cut.  Scissors cut the wet hair on top quite short and blend it to the buzzed sides and nape.  A razor blade is used to clean around the hairline.  A bit of gel is added and Jovelyn is given a nice side part.  Jovelyn's job involves customer interaction and her boss did not like her new haircut.  She said either buy a wig or take some time off.  It looks like Jovelyn will be enjoying a bit of a vacation thanks to her new haircut.

Vid 547 has pretty Monalisa2 starting with longer, curly, dark brown hair.  Monalisa came to us on our first day of this trip and says she is ready for a very short haircut.  The barber starts with scissor-over-comb technique on dry hair cutting all of Monalisa's hair into a short pixie cut.  Then the No. 1 clippers start on the right side and buzz it nearly to the skin.  This continues all around until the bottom half of her head looks nearly bald.  The No. 2 clippers buzz over the top and reduce the remaining hair to just 1/4".  Only a bit of bangs are left and the are snipped short with scissors.  Monalisa looks a bit nervous as she can only feel how short her hair has become.  A straight razor cleans the hairline and Monalisa sees her new cut for the first time.  She's a bit shocked but manages to coax a smile as she sees her new short buzzcut.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 548 has the return of one our favorite models, Gracel from Vid 072.  Gracel has grown her hair in the last 3 1/2 years since she got her buzzcut.  Now she's ready for the ultimate haircut, she want to shave her head.  Gracel recently dyed her hair to a lovely light brown.  The barber starts with scissors on dry hair and cuts it all to just a few inches.  This is just the beginning as the barber takes the 00000 clippers and buzzes straight down the middle leaving a pale stripe in it's wake.  This continues all over until Gracel has the smallest bit of stubble on her head.  Shaving cream is added and a straight razor slowly removes any remaining stubble.  Gracel flashes her amazing smile as she sees her newly shaved head for the first time.  She really likes the bald look.  Those who buy this video may recognize one of the ladies watching Gracel as a former model.  She shaved her head just before Gracel and her video will be released in two weeks.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 549 has Arlene4 starting with long straight hair that is nearly black.  You might call it classic Asian hair.  Arlene is ready for a shorter look, just not too short.  The barber starts with inverted clippers at the back and cuts a straight line a bit above the hairline.  With the bob's length established in the back it's time to start in front.  The clippers start at chin length and angle slightly to the buzzed nape.  Once the bob is buzzed on dry hair, the hair is cut wet with scissors to perfect the length.  The exposed nape is shaved smooth.  A quick blow dry and some finishing touches finish this cute bob.  Arlene really loves her new stylish haircut.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 550 has returning model Angel2 ready for another haircut.  Angel first appeared on Vid 388 and her hair has grown just past her shoulders.  Now it's time for another buzzcut.  The stylist starts with scissors and comb and snips off all of the longer dry hair.  Next the No. 3 clippers start at the nape and quickly buzz most of Angel's hair to 3/8".  The No. 2 guard is added and the entire sides and back are buzzed to 1/4".  The remaining bangs are snipped short and blended with the buzzed sections.  A razor blade cleans the hairline.  Angel likes this buzzcut just as much as she liked her first one.  Maybe next time she'll go even shorter.

	Vid 551 has two complete haircuts on one video.  In fact these two haircuts happened consecutively at the same shop.  First up is Sharlyn Mae who already sports a cute short haircut.  Sharlyn has asked to be a model before but we always wanted her to let it grow a bit more.  Now it's close to Christmas and she really wants the money so she agrees to a really short buzzcut.  The stylist starts with the No. 2 clippers at the nape and runs them over Sharlyn's entire head.  That's right, no bangs for Sharlyn.  Then the No. 1 clippers start their work.  They buzz the entire sides and back micro close.  Sharlyn is left with one of our shortest buzzcuts ever.  We dye her hair brown but it isn't really visible on the video.  While Sharlyn gets her color, Nerissa hops into the open chair.  Starting with long straight black hair and a lovely smile, it's her turn for a close buzzcut.  Again the No. 2 clippers buzz all over but leave some bangs this time.  The No. 1 clippers buzz the sides and back close and the bangs are snipped short with scissors.  Nerissa loves her new buzzcut.  Sharlyn is not so sure.

Vid 552 has the return of another model, Jenn from Vid 182.  Jenn is best friends with Gracel from Vid 072 and Vid 548.  Jenn convinced Gracel to cut her hair in 1995 and convinced her to come back this time so they could both shave their heads together.  Jenn's hair is very long, black and slightly wavy.  She goes first as Gracel gets to watch.  Jenn has a grown out undercut and the remaining long hair is separated into four large ponytails.  First the undercut is buzzed off with the clippers.  Then the front right ponytail is buzzed to the skin.  The front left ponytail follows leaving the entire front half of her head buzzed smooth.  The two ponytails at the back follow in suit leaving the faintest of stubble behind.  Shaving cream is added and a straight razor cleans away all remaining stubble.  Jenn looks great with her new shaved head.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 553 has cute Jennylyn2 starting with an amazing head of hair.  It is thick, straight, black and nearly to her waist.  Jennylyn wants a true makeover.  We start with a ponytail near her crown.  The ponytail is buzz off with clippers.  Next the clippers buzz the entire back all the way to the crown.  Scissors take over on top and in front cutting and layering the hair.  Face framing layers remain.  The nape is cleaned with a straight razor and the top is blown dry.  Being a true makeover, Jennylyn selects a bright copper as her new color.  The buzzed nape is left black while the rest is dyed off camera.  Jennylyn looks great with her new cut and color.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 554 has Jenny3 starting with shoulder length hair that she has dyed bright red, a cute smile and a nose ring.  Jenny remembered me from a previous trip and approached me saying, "You're the guy who cuts hair."  We chatted and she agreed to get a short haircut.  The barber starts with the clippers and buzzes a high path above each ear and up the nape.  Scissors take over on wet hair on top.  Jenny's hair is cut quite short on top and layered.  A straight razor cleans around the edges.  Gel is added so Jenny's hair can be combed into a side part.  Jenny loves her new boyish cut.  She later encouraged several of her friends and co-workers to also get haircuts.  We'll point them out as they appear.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 555 has Annaliza3 starting with long straight brown hair with a bit of layering.  Annaliza has decided to go with one of our shortest cuts, a No. 1 Chelsea cut.  She is quite nervous and is visibly trembling as she enters the chair.  The barber wastes no time as he starts right behind the bangs and buzzes straight back with the No. 1 clippers.  This continues until most of her head is buzzes to 1/8".  Only a few bangs and tails remain at full length.  These are then cut short with scissors giving Annaliza a cute Chelsea cut.  Gel is added to hold the remaining length into place.  Annaliza is really shaking as she sees her new look for the first time.  This is a major change for her but a major upgrade in our opinion.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 556 has Irene3 starting with very long straight black hair that has been layered a bit.  Irene has decided to go all the way and shave her head.  We separate the top hair into two small ponytails at her crown.  The barber starts at the right sideburn and buzzes off all the loose hair.  This continues all around Irene's head until she has one incredible undercut with two small ponytails in back.  Next, the right half is buzzed off followed by the left half.  Now only the faintest of stubble remains.  Shaving cream is added and a straight razor slowly shaves her head.  Irene looked quite cute with long hair, with a cute undercut and shaved smooth.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 557 has the lovely Sylvia starting with long, straight, black hair.  Sylvia is a pretty young lady with a great smile.  She is also quite adventurous and is ready for just about anything.  Today we decide to give her an extreme bob.  The barber starts at the back with inverted clippers.  He starts very high and buzzes straight down.  He creates a sharp angle as he buzzes to chin length in front.  He repeats this on the other side until Sylvia has a striking bob that is buzzed very high in back.  Scissors clean up the bob and shaving cream is added in back.  The back is shaved smooth.  After a quick blow dry, short bangs are added in front.  Sylvia loves her extreme bob but went much shorter on her next video, Vid 564.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 558 has the cute Abigail starting with a rather unique haircut.  Half of her hair is very long while the other half has been cut to her shoulders in a "step" haircut.  Today she wants another unique haircut.  The stylist starts by chopping off the long hair in back with scissors.  Then the No. 2 clippers buzz the entire back to 1/4".  Scissors take over in front cutting above the ears.  The layers get longer as they go forward framing the face.  The top is layered as well and short bangs are added.  Abigail loves the new cut and jumps on the opportunity to dye her bangs bright blond.  Whether all black or with the blond bangs, Abigail looks great and loves her fashionable new cut.

Vid 559 has Melissa2 starting with long, wavy, thick, black hair.  Today Melissa is ready for a major change as she has decided to get a flattop as her new cut.  The barber starts with scissor-over-comb to remove the long hair.  Melissa's long locks are now in her lap and on the floor.  The No. 2 clippers buzz the center top and all of the sides and back to 1/4".  The zero clippers buzz the sides and back to the skin.  Scissors take the thick hair on top to a very short flattop.  Shaving cream is added to the sides and back.  A fresh blade is added and a straight razor shaves the sides and back smooth.  Melissa looks amazing in her new shaved flattop.  Second camera footage available on this video.

Vid 560 has Jellie starting with one of the most amazing heads of hair we have seen.  It's near black, straight, quite thick and hangs to her butt.  Jellie smiles as she tells us that she wants it all off.  This is going to be one amazing makeover.  We start by parting Jellie's hair into two high ponytails.  The "00000" clippers buzz the left ponytail off at the skin.  Now Jellie has a super long ponytail on the right side and stubble on the left side.  The right ponytail soon follows and Jellie now has one for each hand.  With only the barest of stubble left, the barber adds shaving cream to Jellie's head.  A straight razor is used to deftly remove any remaining stubble.  Jellie is still smiling as she sees her newly shaven head in the mirror.  She is not at all traumatized despite having one of the most extreme makeovers we have ever done.  Second camera footage available on this video.
