Vid 087 has Candy wanting something very different for her long brown/black hair. She decides on a Chelsea cut, a No. 3 buzz all over with some left longer at the bangs and the nape. We take her to the salon for this cut. First, Candy’s hair is gathered into a high ponytail and cut off very close with scissors. This salon just opened and doesn’t have real barber’s clippers. The small battery operated ones are no match for Candy’s thick hair. The stylist first crops the bulk short with scissors. Next, the clippers buzz it down to a No. 3. The stylist didn’t like the look of the hair at the nape so she buzzes that off without warning. We offer to add color to Candy’s hair and she selects a bright red color. The result is a bright red buzzcut with bangs. It’s hard to believe that this is the same woman. The reaction when Candy got home must have been amazing because the next day, two of her sisters showed up wanting to be models.
