Today, 08/28/10, we added four models on four new videos available on DVD and as Downloads. A cute return model gets a high undercut, another return model goes from very long to very short, a model goes from longer thicker hair to a shaved flattop and a young model goes from heavily layered long hair to shaved smooth. We also have one ponytail auction this week and a bag of hair auction next week.

Vid 673 has the return of one of our favorite models, Joy Ann from Vid 268. Joy Ann left the shop with a cute short haircut. Now, more than three years later, she returns for an even shorter cut. Her hair has grown quite long in the past three years so today we decide to give her a cute high undercut. We start by parting the top hair into a ponytail at her crown. The female cutter starts with the No. 1 clippers on the loose hair on the right side. She buzzes up as the long hair falls to the floor. Joy Ann's long hair was saved and will be up for auction on Ebay next week. The cutter is a bit timid with the clippers at first but soon buzzes all of the sides and back to less than 1/8". Joy Ann looks incredibly cute with her little black dress, her big black hoop earrings and her cute ponytail exposing her high undercut. Joy Ann looks so cute like this that it's almost a shame that she chose to go shorter. Stop back in two weeks to see Joy Ann's next haircut. Second camera footage available on this video.
Vid 674 has the return of a former model, Irene2 from Vid 291. Three years ago Irene cut her longer hair quite short. Since then her hair has grown long, thick, straight and black. Today she will go even shorter. We start with a ponytail at the back of her head. The ponytail is snipped off with scissors and is up for auction on Ebay this week. With the long hair gone it's time for the clippers. The female cutter starts with the No. 2 clippers on the right side. She buzzes high up both sides and up the nape. The top hair is still longer so scissor-over-comb is used on top. The top hair is all cropped short first on dry hair and then again on wet hair. The bangs are snipped super short as well. The top hair, while short, is still a bit thick. The cutter attacks with thinning shears removing a lot of the hair that is left. A straight razor is used to clean around Irene's strong hairline. Irene is left with a cute short crop, buzzed on the sides and back and cut short on top. Thanks for coming back Irene. Second camera footage available on this video.
Vid 675 has Haydelyn starting with longer, thick, dark hair. Today Haydelyn is ready for a major change as she has asked for a flattop. We take her to a small barbershop owned by a barber we used back in 2005. Today it will be his task to give Haydelyn the flattop she desires. The barber grabs the length in his left hand and the clippers in his right. He buzzes off the length and drops it on the floor. The No. 1 guard is attached and buzzes high up the sides and back. The guard is removed and the sides and back are buzzed to the skin. The clippers then buzz the top shorter and shorter. This is starting to look like a flattop. Scissors take over and snip the top into a cute short flattop. Shaving cream is applied to the sides and back with a shaving brush. A straight razor is used to shave the sides and back smooth. This forms a line between the top and the shaved sections below. The barber grabs the clippers and fades the line, taking the top just a bit shorter in the process. Haydelyn looks lovely with her new short flattop.
Vid 676 has Cathy starting with long, heavily layered, straight black hair. Cathy has a lovely smile and has recently had a large amount of layers added to her hair as is the current style. Today Cathy is ready to lose her new layers, completely. The female cutter starts with scissors on dry hair. I ask her to cut the long hair close to the scalp and she takes it to heart. Lock after lock of hair is dropped into Cathy's lap while stripes are now left where her long hair used to be. When the cutting is down, Cathy's head appears to have stripes of short hair and no hair all over. The cutter grabs the zero clippers and starts buzzing Cathy's head. This is when we find out Cathy is a bit ticklish as she squirms from the clippers. Soon Cathy's head is buzzed to stubble. Shaving cream is added all over and the cutter grabs a straight razor. The straight razor slowly shaves Cathy's head smooth while inadvertently causing a nick along the way. Cathy smiles from ear to ear as she sees her new shaved head for the first time.
