Today, 12/27/08, we added five new videos available on DVD and as Downloads. We've got a short, over-the-ears cut, a fashionable cut with a high buzzed nape, a short buzzcut, a flattop and one bald. We have two pontail auctions as well.

Vid 491 has Marissa5 starting with thick, straight, dark brown hair. Today Marissa is ready to much shorter. We start with a ponytail at her nape that is buzzed off with clippers. Marissa's ponytail will be up for auction on Ebay next week. The clippers buzz a smaller path above each ear and a bit up the nape. Clippers blend in the longer hair on top. Scissors are also used to blend the top to the buzzed area below. A straight razor is used to clean the hairline. Marissa looks great and really likes her new short cut. Vid 492 has the cute and very nervous Donna starting with long wavy black hair with brown color in front. Donna wants a cut that is quite short in back with layers in front. The barber starts with scissors on dry hair cutting Donna's hair into a quick chin length bob. Next, the nape is sectioned away well above Donna's ears and the entire section is buzzed to 1/4". Thinning shears and scissors take over in front cutting the entire front short with layers. Donna is a little freaked out at this point and her nose starts to run during the blow dry. She is visibly shaken upon seeing her new look in the mirror. This is the shortest she has ever worn her hair and this will take a little while to get used to. We think she looks great. Vid 493 has Maricel5 starting with long, thick, straight, black hair. Maricel wants a big change, she wants a short buzzcut. We start with a ponytail high up Maricel's nape. The ponytail is buzzed off with clippers and is up for auction on Ebay this week. Next the No. 2 clippers start on top and buzz all but the bangs to 1/4". The sides and back are buzzed even closer and faded. The remaining bangs are cut nice and short. Maricel looks like a new woman with her new buzzcut.
Vid 494 has Juvy starting with very long, straight, brown hair. Juvy is up for anything so we ask her to try a shaved flattop. "Why not," she says as she hops into the barber's chair. The barber starts with the No. 1 clippers and a comb and buzzed the entire side to 1/8". Beginning at the right sideburn, the barber circles the head until only a cropped top remains. The zero blades are used to take the sides and back to the skin. The top is buzzed down with clippers and scissors are used to finish the top. Shaving cream is spread over the sides and back and they are shaved smooth. Juvy loves the flattop but was actually thinking of something shorter. We'll see more of Juvy in two weeks. Vid 495 has the return of Mary Grace4 from Vid 486. Mary Grace's has gone from very long to an extreme bob and now she wants to go shorter. She wants to shave her head. The barber starts with inverted clippers and connects the high nape in back to the high bangs in front creating a cute bowl cut. This doesn't last long as the barber then buzzes straight down the middle of Mary Grace's head. This continues until she is buzzed to stubble. Shaving cream is added and Mary Grace's head is shaved smooth. She started with very long hair and leaves with a shaved head. Given her smile, I'd say she likes the shaved look the most.
