Today, 6/27/09, we added four new videos available on DVD and as Downloads. We have a fashionable cut with color, a cute short cut, a short Chelsea cut and a model going bald. We also have one ponytail auction.
Here are this week's new videos.
Vid 553 has cute Jennylyn2 starting with an amazing head of hair. It is thick, straight, black and nearly to her waist. Jennylyn wants a true makeover. We start with a ponytail near her crown. The ponytail is buzz off with clippers and is up for auction on Ebay this week. Next the clippers buzz the entire back all the way to the crown. Scissors take over on top and in front cutting and layering the hair. Face framing layers remain. The nape is cleaned with a straight razor and the top is blown dry. Being a true makeover, Jennylyn selects a bright copper as her new color. The buzzed nape is left black while the rest is dyed off camera. Jennylyn looks great with her new cut and color. Vid 554 has Jenny3 starting with shoulder length hair that she has dyed bright red, a cute smile and a nose ring. Jenny remembered me from a previous trip and approached me saying, "You're the guy who cuts hair." We chatted and she agreed to get a short haircut. The barber starts with the clippers and buzzes a high path above each ear and up the nape. Scissors take over on wet hair on top. Jenny's hair is cut quite short on top and layered. A straight razor cleans around the edges. Gel is added so Jenny's hair can be combed into a side part. Jenny loves her new boyish cut. She later encouraged several of her friends and co-workers to also get haircuts. We'll point them out as they appear. Second camera footage available on this video.
Vid 555 has Annaliza3 starting with long straight brown hair with a bit of layering. Annaliza has decided to go with one of our shortest cuts, a No. 1 Chelsea cut. She is quite nervous and is visibly trembling as she enters the chair. The barber wastes no time as he starts right behind the bangs and buzzes straight back with the No. 1 clippers. This continues until most of her head is buzzes to 1/8". Only a few bangs and tails remain at full length. These are then cut short with scissors giving Annaliza a cute Chelsea cut. Gel is added to hold the remaining length into place. Annaliza is really shaking as she sees her new look for the first time. This is a major change for her but a major upgrade in our opinion. Vid 556 has Irene3 starting with very long straight black hair that has been layered a bit. Irene has decided to go all the way and shave her head. We separate the top hair into two small ponytails at her crown. The barber starts at the right sideburn and buzzes off all the loose hair. This continues all around Irene's head until she has one incredible undercut with two small ponytails in back. Next, the right half is buzzed off followed by the left half. Now only the faintest of stubble remains. Shaving cream is added and a straight razor slowly shaves her head. Irene looked quite cute with long hair, with a cute undercut and shaved smooth.
